Week 14 (12/11/22): about an hour before kickoff. Despite being a 17 ½ point favorites, the Cowboys scored a late TD to avoid a major upset to the Texans, 27-23.

The 96th (and possibly last) Battle of the Piney Woods game between Sam Houston State University & Stephen F, Austin. Thanks to questionable play calling by the Lumberjacks, the Bearkats were able to notch a 17-16 win on a TD in the final minute.

Astros 6, Red Sox 1 – Aug 2022. Trey Mancini homer in first start with Astros, to help avoid from being swept by Boston.

Astros 3, Mets 3 – June 2022. Gabe & I were on hand in section 108 to witness Yordan Alvarez belts two homers as Astros completed a two-game sweep of the Mets. 35,000 in attendance & many of them were Met fans.

FCS top-ranked Sam Houston completed a fourth-quarter comeback to edge their archrival Stephen F. Austin 21-20.

Tyrod Taylor-led Texans rout Jaguars in 2021 season opener 37-21.

The Oakland A’s, behind pitcher Frankie Montas, avoids sweep by the Houston Astros. The 2-1 victory stopped a three-game skid for Oakland and ended a six-game winning streak for the Astros, who still lead the A’s by 5.5 games in the AL West.
